AMA will be facilitating a COVID-19 vaccination clinic every Tuesday – Thursday for Ottawa residents.
This program is to help reduce barriers for residents who have not yet received the vaccine. The hubs will work with community leaders to promote a comfortable, convenient, and easily accessible option for vaccination, as another step towards the goal of ensuring that anyone 12+ in Ottawa who wants a COVID-19 vaccine can get vaccinated.
You’re eligible to receive the vaccine if you satisfy the following criteria:
- First doses are available for Ottawa residents aged 5 years of age or older at the time of vaccination
- Second doses are available for Ottawa residents aged 5 years of age or older who received their first dose of an mRNA vaccine at least 28 days before their appointment. Residents who received their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine can receive an mRNA vaccine after 56 days
- Third doses (booster doses) are available for Ottawa residents who are 18 years of age or older who received their second dose at least 3 months (84 days) ago
